Privacy
What we keep
For your account: your name, email address and password (stored scrambled, we can’t read it). For your club page: everything you type into it and your logo.
What’s public
Once your page is approved, everything on it is public: the club name, logo, description, place, links and meet-up times. If you add a contact email it appears on the page as a button. Your account email is never shown.
What we use it for
Running your page, emailing you about it (password links, approval, problems) and, if you report a page, looking into it. We don’t sell your details or send you marketing from this site.
Cookies
We set a login cookie when you sign in, and we remember your cookie choice in a cookie called wp_consent_prefs for a year so we don’t ask on every visit. Both are needed for the site to work.
Sign-up and report forms are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which works out whether you are a person rather than a script. It is needed for those forms to work and it does not follow you around the web.
Counting visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on every page, including club pages. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, doesn’t fingerprint it, and only counts anonymous page views so we can see which pages get used.
On our own pages (the home page, Browse, Terms and this one) we also use Google Analytics, which does set cookies (_ga and _ga_*, kept up to two years). It stays switched off until you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind from Cookie settings in the footer. Club pages never load it.
Deleting it
Delete your page and account from My club and it’s gone, logo included. Or email hello@racerpacer.com and we’ll do it for you.
